About the Role 

We are looking for a full-time team member with strong customer service skills to join our growing short-term rental company. This role combines guest relations, property management, pricing strategy, and operational support to help deliver an exceptional experience for both guests and property owners. 

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing communication tasks with hands-on operational responsibilities. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • - Serve as a primary contact for vacation rental platforms (VRBO, Airbnb, and other booking channels) 

  • - Communicate promptly and professionally with guests before, during, and after their stay 

  • - Manage reservation calendars, guest inquiries, and issue resolution 

  • - Set and adjust nightly pricing based on demand, seasonality, and local events 

  • - Oversee day-to-day unit management to ensure properties remain guest-ready 

  • - Coordinate with cleaning teams, maintenance vendors, and other service providers as needed 

  • - Be available on-call to assist with guest or property issues during active stays 

  • - Assist with onboarding and setting up new rental units 

  • - Support leadership with additional operational tasks and projects as needed 

  • - Attend weekly team meetings (hybrid schedule; no formal office location) 

Qualifications 

  • - Previous customer service or hospitality experience necessary  

  • - Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • - Ability to problem-solve quickly and stay calm under pressure 

  • - Highly organized with strong attention to detail 

  • - Comfortable using technology, apps, and online booking platforms 

  • - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively 

  • - Flexible schedule and willingness to be on call when guests are in residence 

  • - Absolutely must be local to Auburn, Al  

Work Environment 

  • - Hybrid position (remote work with occasional on-site responsibilities) 

  • - No dedicated office — work-from-home flexibility with weekly team meetings 

  • - Occasional local travel to in town properties for setup or operational needs
