Job Description

Michael Allen Interiors is currently seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team and contribute to a diverse range of custom residential homes. We are looking for a designer who is passionate, detail-oriented, and eager to collaborate in a dynamic environment. As an integral part of the design process, the designer will be responsible for producing high-quality custom selections while providing exceptional client service. This position offers the opportunity to work on all phases of a project, from exterior and interior design selections to material sourcing, client-led product research, and on-site execution. The designer will need to communicate effectively with the team to maintain high standards and ensure every detail aligns with the overall vision of the project.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design preferred

Experience as a designer in either a residential or commercial industry is preferred

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Canva, and sketching preferred

Excellent oral, written, and graphic communication skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting with little supervision to maintain a positive client experience

Responsibilities

Desire to work in a creative environment while prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously

Develop space plans, selection schedules, and design documents

Review and revise architectural plans and project elevations

Coordinate selections and specifications of finish materials within the provided budget and project timeline

Lead project meetings and client presentations and effectively communicate with suppliers and vendors
