About the Role:
Olivine Rooftop Restaurant, a brand-new rooftop restaurant and bar located atop the AC Hotel in Auburn, is looking for a Social Media & Events Coordinator to join our opening team. While Olivine is housed within the hotel, it operates as a distinct, standalone concept – and we’re on a mission to become the go-to destination in town for incredible Italian dishes, rooftop cocktails, and curated events.

This role offers the opportunity to be part of a fresh brand from the ground up and play a key role in shaping its digital presence and community relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with RAM Hotels and our brand/creative team to ensure all marketing efforts align with Olivine’s brand identity and overall launch strategy

- Manage Olivine’s social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, community engagement, and performance tracking

- Help maintain Olivine’s brand voice across all digital platforms

- Capture on-site content (photos, videos, Reels, behind-the-scenes footage) to showcase the restaurant’s atmosphere, menu, staff, and events

- Collaborate with the culinary and bar teams to promote new menu items, specials, and chef features

- Build relationships with Auburn’s on-campus organizations and student groups to encourage social and philanthropic event bookings

- Coordinate private events and community partnerships

- Support public relations efforts for the grand opening, seasonal promotions, and community activations

Qualifications/Requirements: 

- Experience in social media, event planning, marketing, or related role 

- Proficiency with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and more)

- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills

- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines

- Comfortable engaging with student groups, vendors, and community partners

Essential Skills: 

- Passionate about social media, hospitality, and event coordination

- Creative, outgoing, and deeply connected to the Auburn community

- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communicator with an eye for detail and design

- Prior experience in social media management, PR, and/or event planning
