Account Manager (Sports & Entertainment Division)

The Account Manager manages relationships with clients in the Sports & Entertainment division, ensuring successful event delivery, client satisfaction, and compliance with legal and company policies. This role is responsible for conveying client needs to internal teams, managing financial transactions, and ensuring all events meet regulatory standards. The Account Manager operates independently, focusing on pushing out information without collaborating with internal teams, to meet client requests effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Client Management:

  • Serve as the project manager of contact for clients.
  • Understand client needs and customize services accordingly based on their requests.
  • Ensure compliance by relaying necessary information to clients.

Information Dissemination:

  • Push out client requests and event details to Operations and other internal teams promptly.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication to facilitate successful event execution.

Compliance Assurance:

  • Guide clients to ensure all events adhere to legal and company standards.

Financial Management:

  • Collect, record, and process payments from clients for events.
  • Manage invoicing and ensure timely payment collection.

Event Coordination:

  • Coordinate event logistics based on client specifications and needs.
  • Ensure events meet quality standards and client expectations.

Administrative Duties:

  • Prepare event documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, financial transactions, and compliance communications.

Travel Expectations:

  • It is expected that all team members in Sports & Entertainment travel with the events on the road as they come about.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in account management or event planning.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple clients and events simultaneously.
  • Passion for sports and entertainment industries.
