Overview:
The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of our workforce and logistics in Auburn. This full-time, in-person role is ideal for someone in their early to mid-twenties with experience leading teams, as they will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and retaining a strong team of movers. This role has a busy season spanning April to August, with more flexible hours in the fall and winter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a supportive, blue-collar environment with servant leadership and a team-first mindset.
• Lead recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and training to maintain a skilled team of movers and coordinators.
• Coordinate and schedule moves, ensuring efficiency and punctuality on every job.
• Oversee truck logistics and maintain warehouse operations for our furniture storage services.
• Develop and implement processes as needed—ideal for someone who can create with minimal guidance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in team leadership.
• Strong organizational and logistics background.
• Excellent communication skills for team management and client interaction.
• Willingness to work long hours during peak moving season (April to August).
• Ability to adapt to lighter schedules in the fall and winter.
• Passion for contributing to a rapidly growing company expanding across college towns nationwide.
• Experience in profit and loss management to ensure the financial health of operations.
